Payment:

Payment must be made by check or money order in full at the time of reservation. A $200.00 security deposit is also due at this time. 
RENTAL PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE! However, should a renter be unable to visit, we will make a good faith effort to find another. If we are successful, the payment and deposit will be refunded minus a $150 re-booking fee.

Rules:

Gary's Cottage is our family vacation home and is very special to us. We ask that you care for and respect our cottage as you would your own home.

Check-In/Out: Weekly rental is from Saturday to Saturday and weekend rental is from Friday to Sunday. Check in is at 3:30 PM. Check out is at 11:30 AM. You shall leave the house neat and clean, in the condition which it was found, floors swept and mopped (provided), dishes washed, trashed bagged and placed in outside garbage bin, refrigerators and cabinets emptied of perishables.  Your deposit will be returned in full within three weeks. If damage is found, or excessive cleaning is required to prepare the cottage for the next renters, charges will be determined and deducted from your security deposit. The balance of your deposit will then be returned to you.

Garbage: Garbage pick-up is on Sunday.  Please bring garbage cans to the curb and return them to their original spot before Saturday am departure

Parking: There is a five-car maximum. We are not responsible for any damages to vehicles. 

Noise: We live in a quiet residential area and ask that you respect our neighbors. Complaints about excessive noise or dangerous or offensive behavior can result in you being asked to leave with no rental refund.  NO WILD PARTIES ALLOWED AT ALL!!

Pets: No pets are allowed without prior approval. 

Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the property.  If you must smoke, you must do so outside and dispose of your butts in an appropriate container.  DO NOT THROW YOUR CIGARETTES ON THE PROPERTY.  THIS WILL RESULT IN A DEDUCTION IN YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT.

Dock: The dock shall be used as ingress and egress to the lake only and there is a 600 lb maximum weight capacity.  Please note that the stairs are slippery and should be used with caution.  It shall not be used in any other way and no rough housing is allowed on the dock!

Weather & Lake Conditions: We will not be held responsible for weather or lake conditions during your stay.

Notice To Renters: This property is privately owned and the owners reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, and will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to renters or guests or to vehicles, or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. 


Reservations:

If you are interested in reserving dates for the cottage, please first read the above Rates and Rules and check the Availability.  Then call us at 315-292-1055 or email us to confirm the dates.  After confirming the dates, you will need to print out and sign the Rental Agreement and mail it to us to the address on the Agreement along with your payment.  When we receive the Agreement and payment, we will mark your rental dates off of our Availability calendar.
